Titan 200 ton crane built in 1906 was still in operation until 1998 when the yard closed had the pleasure of operating the crane in the 1980s crane has been turned into a visitor attraction on the banks of the river Clyde an icon to the great shipbuilding heritage in Glasgow Scotland

Peter his name was John paul I remember the deccalift crane I was learning the skyhorse at the time also operated the American 9299 great time in that yard I was only 18 learning everything ? still operating in London at the moment with select on ltr1100 Lr 1300

Worked there myself back in the 80's for Decalift with the Demag C12000 on the Texaco Captain topside & jacket. French guy was the operator but worked for UIE.
